Ecco might be darker as he is in the game but that fits the brightness of the stars on his forehead. Heck I really think that the developers should have made Ecco darker! Very watchful of you to draw the clan marking on Ecco`s side, you have a good memory of little details. The water surface and the exploding water looks good and I don`t know why you think the fish "suck epicly". In my oppinion they look good, especially the one on the left who faces the "camera" so to speak.

I usually know what I'm doing and why...
But yeah dark for it to go right with the art + stars... and he's facing down.
I think he's fine, he's the right colour, the only time I found Ecco weird was in the underground caverns of '4 ways of Mystery', where he appeared white and blue. o_o Pretty.
:'D I actually forget lotsa details (Normally on other characters).
I'm so into the art I forget. LOL.
T_T You'd understand if you saw my comic cover... the fish are really good there, I struggled here... and this was done way after DX I even had to use ref here, what!?

It's a crimson dye they used for marking (Status symbol)... and with the timelines altered the things from the last part fade away.
